Why should I hire a freelance copywriter?

If you are an ad agency, you can add extra brainpower to your staff without bearing the expense usually associated with permanent employees. Freelance copywriters work only when you need them and provide a way to gain additional expertise – at an affordable price.

Can you write for my business?

Yes. Because of my diverse background, chances are good that I am familiar with, or at least have a basic understanding of your field. If, however, your field is new to me, I’m a quick study and I enjoy research. I can grasp the key points of any subject matter and turn it into an effective piece.

Also, never underestimate the value of a pair of fresh eyes. Having a copywriter who is not acquainted with your field can be of great value. A fresh perspective allows the copywriter to think out of the box and offer approaches and solutions that someone in your field may not think of.

What do you charge?

My rates are extremely reasonable. I quote each project I take on individually. I assess the amount of time I’ll need to complete the project while taking into consideration its complexity. Contact me for a free estimate.

How long does it take you to turn around a project?

I complete all my projects as quickly and efficiently as possible. Once we clarify the specific needs and scope of your project, I’ll give you a firm completion date. If you have a specific deadline to meet, simply let me know and I’ll make sure your needs are met.

How will I receive my copy?

All copy will be sent electronically. If you would like to have a tangible form of the copy provided to you in addition to the electronic file, I will happily accommodate your needs.

What about revisions?

Each job estimate includes up to two revisions within 30 days of submitting the copy as long as the revision is not based on a change in the overall direction or scope of the project.

If 30 days have passed or there is a substantial change in the direction or strategy of the project, the project will be treated as a separate request and billed accordingly.

Do you do graphic design?

Copywriting is my specialty. I leave graphic design to the graphic designers. However, I will work with any graphic designer of your choosing to help with the final product. If you do not have a graphic artist, I know several talented local artists who will be happy to help you with your needs. Contact me for a graphic artist referral.
